Thorplands Residents Association Boxing Day Snowman Race returns for its 3rd year! Join us in raising funds for the Thorplands Residents Association with a fun-filled Snowman Race! The draw will be held on December 26th 2025. The time has been scheduled for 11am (time subject to change).
Guide:
1. Choose a Snowman name: Pick from the 360 available snowman names, only the names that have been sold will be entered into the race. Struggling to choose? Just pick a random number!
2. Purchase a Ticket: Each name corresponds to one ticket. Secure your favourite snowman before it’s taken! Payment for tickets can be made to the Thorplands Residents Association bank account. Ticket Sales Close on Tuesday 23rd December at 4pm.
3. Boxing Day draw: On Boxing Day, we will hold the draw (11am – subject to change). Unsold tickets will not be entered into the race.
Watch the Race: The race will be streamed on the TRA Fun & Games Facebook group. If you’re not on Facebook, please provide your mobile number when purchasing tickets so we can contact you after the race if you win a prize. Check out the video below to see an idea of how the race looks, the video shows a short clip from the 2023 race.
The first 3 places will win a cash prize.
1st Place: Currently £71.20 (40% of the prize fund)
2nd Place: Currently £35.60 (20% of the prize fund)
3rd Place: Currently (£17.80) 10% of the prize fund.
The remaining 30% will help to fund Thorplands Residents Association events and activities. So far we have raised £53.40, thank you to everyone who has purchased tickets!
Prizes can be paid either by cash or directly into your bank account.
Example: If 100 tickets are sold, the prizes will be:
1st Place: £40
2nd Place: £20
3rd Place: £10
Note: Participants must be 16 years old or older. Thorplands Residents Association is registered as small society lottery with West Northamptonshire Council.
